I SAW FOSTER THE PEOPLE TODAY!

just came home from bdo after seeing heaps of bands, my highlight being FOSTER THE PEOPLE of course. they were so good, it was my first time seeing them live. they played houdini, miss you, life on the nickel, waste, call it what you want, don’t stop, helena beat, pumped up kicks. my friend and i had a plan to get to the barrier for regurgitator so we could have a good spot for foster the people (they were playing after regurgitator), and were planning to move to the centre since we were kinda on the side but had a good view anyway, but straight after regurgitor we were practically pushed up against the barrier straight away. i had never seen that particular stage at bdo get so packed before since my friend and i were hanging there watching other bands the whole day. they all came out on time, and then mark followed out after they began houdini. it was honestly the best concert/festival experience i’ve ever had. they are so good live, and i was singing and dancing to every song resulting in me being literally saturated in my own sweat (i don’t think i’ve ever sweat so much in my life). AND mark kept coming over to the side that we were on, and i could’ve sworn he smiled at me like 4 times since i was the only one with outstretched arms in the section that he came over at. and also their hair looked really good in person, as weird as this may sound.
